Super Agent Models: the rise of the digital employee

SAM combines conversation, knowledge and system actions so AI can complete whole tasks rather than answer isolated questions.

01

Beyond the chatbot

Early chatbots answered narrow questions from scripts. A Super Agent Model coordinates conversation, retrieval of approved knowledge, memory of the interaction and permitted actions in business systems. That lets it complete multi-step work such as rescheduling an appointment or logging a claim.

02

One agent, every channel

SAM can work across voice, web chat, SMS, email and messaging channels while keeping context. A customer who starts on chat and later calls should not have to repeat themselves.

03

Guardrails by design

Each SAM is configured with what it can say, which actions are permitted, what needs confirmation and when to escalate. Deterministic rules can sit alongside flexible language understanding where certainty matters.

04

Working alongside people

The strongest results come when SAM handles routine volume and prepares clean, summarised cases for staff. People spend more time on judgement, relationships and exceptions, while customers get faster answers at any hour.
